报告题目 An adaptive mesh method for chemically reacting flows

Abstract: This talk presents a numerical study of premixed hydrogen-air supersonic combustion flow field by using an adaptive method. The grid adaptation is based on a moving mesh method, which has merit of no interference with flow computation part and simple to plug in existing flow solver. Source terms in the conventional elliptic grid generation equations are formulated to allow for grid adaptation. A particular monitor function suitable for resolving the induction zone in shock-induced combustion is proposed. Finite difference scheme for shock and stiff flow problems as well as the numerical results are discussed.
