报告题目 Adaptive Finite Element Computations for Three-dimensional Eddy Current Problems

Abstract: Eddy current problems are time-dependent and low-frequency electromagnetic problems. Eddy currents appear in almost all electromagnetic devices. They cause energy transformation and destruct devices. Many engineers devote themselves to the research of these problems. Eddy current problems involve three-dimensional multiply-connected domains, discontinuous coeficients, artificial boundary conditions, and the skin effect of eddy current. This talk will cover four aspects: (1) magnetic field-scalar magnetic potential based formula for eddy current problems, (2) coupled finite element scheme for the problem, (3) residual-based a posteriori error estimators, (4) implementation and numerical computation of an engineering-oriented benchmark problem - Team Workshop Problem 7 .
