报告题目: Convergence Analysis of Pseudospectral Method with Restraint Operator
for Fluid Flow with Low Mach Number
Abstract: In the recent years, Spectral and Pseudospectral methods have become very
popular with their application to computational fluid dynamics.
In particular Pseudospectral methods are widely used because they can be more
efficiently implemented than Spectral methods. But some times Pseudospectral
methods have nonlinear instability, especially for the flows with low Mach
number, so some filtering or smoothing techniques were proposed to remedy
this deficiency. To implement the Pseudospectral method correctly we take
nonlinear Partial differential equations of computational fluid dynamics "
Fluid Flow with Low Mach Number" as modal. A three-Level Fourier
Pseudospectral method with a Restraint Operator R is developed with a
periodic boundary condition. We prove the generalized stability and
convergence of the proposed scheme. Numerical results will be presented.
