报告题目    Solutions of Linear Systems of a Block Two-by-two Structure

Abstract: Large sparse systems of linear equations of block two-by-two coefficient matrices often arise in a variety of scientific and engineering applications, including computational fluid dynamics, mixed finite element approximation of elliptic PDEs, optimization, optimal control, stationary semiconductor device, structural analysis and electrical networks, etc. In this talk, we will introduce some preconditioning techniques and iterative schemes for solving this class of linear systems.
