报告题目 Additive Multigrid Theory

Abstract: In this talk we discuss some recent developments in multigrid theory. The talk will start with a review of multigrid theory in the finite element framework, followed by a discussion of the ideas and tools behind the additive multigrid theory, and end with an application to some discontinuous Galerkin methods for fourth order problems. A large part of this talk should be understandable to graduate students.
