报告摘要：

  Wave equation imaging involves a huge amount of computations required for the extrapolation process of the prestack data. In this talk, a new hybrid method for wavefield extrapolation is introduced first. Its error analysis and its comparisons with some typical methods are also presented. Then, different finite-difference schemes for wavefield extrapolation are discussed. The wavefield synthesis method is adopted to reduce the huge data. Finally, numerical calculations with the hybrid method for two benchmark models are given.
