  For large sparse non-Hermitian and positive definitelinear systems, we give several splitting iteration methodswhich can be used either as solvers or as preconditionersto Krylov subspace methods. The convergence theor yof these methods are analyzed in detail, and some numerical examples are given to show their effectiveness.
