报告摘要：

  This talk provides an introduction to PDE-based modeling and computation of problems in applications. The general approach is illustrated with two concrete examples: one from imaging restoration and the other from multi-phase capturing in computational high frequency wave propagation. Some mathematical and computational issues will be highlighted.
