Comparison of Several Ghost Fluid Methods for Multicomponent Compressible Flows
报告摘要:
Conservative Eulerian methodologies work well when applied to single-medium compressible flows; however, they may encounter computational difficulties at the material interface when applied to multi-medium compressible flows. A developing method called ghost fluid method (GFM), implemented with the level set method, provides unified computation of multi-medium flows. The interface-capturing ability of GFM depends on how the ghost cells are constructed. In this talk, we compare several versions of GFM and outline potential approaches that can simulate more complicated cases more robustly.
