In this talk, l shall report our latest progress on the mathematical study of inverse problems arising in the theory of mean field games. They are described by coupled nonlinear PDEs. We developed several effective mathematical strategies that can tackle the inverse problems. I shall also discuss several open problems in this emerging field of research.
