Currently, the field of spectral cone-beam CT imaging stands at a critical developmental juncture. Spectral imaging technology promises significant enhancements in cone-beam CT performance, driving its evolution from qualitative to quantitative imaging paradigms. This talk comprehensively examines the developmental status, emerging trends, and key challenges across multiple technical pathways of spectral cone-beam CT imaging. Our multidimensional analysis encompasses source-side spectral technologies, detector-side spectral technologies, spectral reconstruction algorithms.
