Abstract:
The discretizations of the left and right fractional derivatives based on the shifted finite-difference formulas of the Grunwald-Letnikov type can result in Toeplitz matrices. Based on this structure, different kinds of iteration methods are constructed to solve the time-dependent space fractional diffusion equations. In this talk, I will show some effective splitting iteration methods, high-effective preconditioners and fast multigrid methods for solving the corresponding discrete linear system.
