Abstract:
In this talk, we are interested in designing some efficient numerical methods for Maxwell-Debye equations in metamaterials with negative refractive index. Dimensional splitting method is used to reduced the scale of the algebraic systems to be solved. High order compact method is used to improve the convergence rate in space. The discrete conservation laws are investigated for the schemes. In addition, the global convergence rate of the schemes are analyzed. Some numerical examples are presented to verify the theoretical results.
