Abstract:
In this talk, we investigate the fractalization phenomena for the multi-component systems of the dispersive evolution equations on a bounded interval subject to the periodic boundary conditions. The evolution at irrational times for linear and nonlinear two-component systems on the torus with bounded variation initial conditions is discussed. It turns out that the continuous but nowhere differential dispersive fractalization phenomena at irrational times still occur in the multi-component setting.
