Abstract:
A long-standing area of material science has been the study of electrostatic and elastic fields in composite material. In high-contrast composites, when two adjacent inclusions are close to touching, the stress always concentrates in the narrow regions between them. For such concentration phenomenon much progress has been made in recent two decades. In this talk we will show that our previous gradient estimates results can be applied to deal with the resonant behavior between two close-to-touching convex acoustic subwavelength resonators.
